Privacy Policy

Effective May 8, 2026. wright dash collects only the data needed to run player accounts, leaderboards, security, and optional analytics.

Data We Collect

• Account data: username, display name, email address, password hash, avatar, achievements, inventory, level progress, and leaderboard scores.
• Security data: IP hash, real IP address for account/security events, rate-limit signals, registration referrer, and device/browser information.
• Optional analytics: visits, play starts, first-party analytics cookie ID, referrer, device type, browser, operating system, language, screen size, standalone-app mode, and general location from hosting/proxy headers when available.
• Local storage: game progress, settings, profile session token, install prompt state, and privacy choice.

Consent

Essential storage is required for gameplay, sign-in, security, and saved progress. Optional analytics are collected only after the player chooses “Accept Analytics.” Players can reopen Privacy Choices from the main menu.

Cookies

If analytics are accepted, wright dash sets one first-party cookie named wd_analytics_id for aggregate usage analytics and admin safety reports. Choosing Necessary Only removes that cookie.

Location

wright dash does not ask for GPS location. General location may be inferred from server/proxy headers such as country, region, or city when those headers are available.

Sharing

Public leaderboards show display name, selected avatar, selected achievement badge, and score. We do not sell player data. Data may be used for security, abuse prevention, service operations, and legal compliance.

Children

wright dash is a family game. A parent or guardian should create or supervise accounts for children. Do not submit personal information for a child without parental permission.

Access, Export, and Deletion

Signed-in users can export or delete account data from Profile. Deletion removes the account and profile leaderboard entry, and activity logs tied to that username are anonymized except records retained for security and abuse prevention.
